Conducts team member exit interviews and prepares monthly report for each department Director and GM.

Develops, coordinates and conducst company inter- and intra-departmental training activities including new team member orientation, COVID-19 training, Leadership Development training.

Coordinates and ensures leaders attend development classes/ modules.

Serves as a coach to help mentor and develop leaders.

Prepares investigative reports with findings and recommendations for the Director of Human Resources and General Manager/Chief Executive Officer.

Conducts timely, independent and unbiased complaint investigations using written statements, personal interviews and document reviews.

Receives and reviews with the HR Director complaints of harassment, discrimination, unsafe/unfair work environment, arbitrary management practices and illegal activities.

Works with department leaders to review TM Satisfaction Survey results and develop follow-up Action Plans to enhance morale and culture.

Prepares and executes a yearly team member Satisfaction Survey acting as the point person for both the vendor administering the survey as well as individual departments.

Assists Department Managers and Directors with strategic planning to ensure department specific goals are aligned with overall property goals.

Supports and works closely with department leaders to develop team member engagement initiatives which will enhance and improve the work environment and culture.

Provides support with communication and rollout/ training.

Partners with department leaders to develop and establish department specific policies & procedures, SOPs, training manuals, and other special projects as assigned.

Establishes strong relationships with team members at all levels.

The HR Business Partner will also be responsible for collaborating with department leaders to identify opportunities and set specific goals to improve the overall performance of the operation and assist in developing specific initiatives to achieve these goals.

The HR Business Partner works directly with department leaders to proactively address issues and develop strategic initiatives to ensure a healthy work environment and culture.

SUMMARY: This position is the primary link between Human Resources and Operations. Position may require availability evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. The incumbent is expected to devote such time and energy as is reasonably necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. This is a salaried, exempt position responsible for working closely with leaders in all departments on every shift for River Rock Casino.
